Our clients have no shortage of stories to tell. But as an objective third party, we can strongly connect those stories to priorities, making things real for their audiences and conveying their story in a way that elicits emotion and action. That’s the skill of fundraising communications.

Jenn joined Offord Group, Marts & Lundy’s Canadian firm, in January 2017 but had already been bringing her communications skills and fundraising experience to the firm as an associate since 2013. Jenn’s career in the not-for-profit sector spans 25 years with arts organizations, universities, hospitals and independent schools.

Jenn is the editor of Perspectives in Philanthropy,  Offord’s annual magazine, and is currently on faculty at the Canadian Association for Independent Schools Leadership Institute. Prior to becoming a consultant, Jenn helped establish the Advancement operation in the founding years of Greenwood College School, from 2003-2011. Her work experience also includes fundraising and alumni relations positions at the University of Toronto and the National Ballet of Canada. She began her career in 1994 as a McConnell Fellow at McMaster University. Her freelance writing has been published in The Globe & Mail, Canada’s national newspaper.

And when she's not working...

Sometimes Jenn uses her home office to hide from her three children. From there she has a beautiful view of four maple trees in her front yard in Toronto, Ontario, where the temperature does indeed rise above freezing for many months of the year. Her favourite place at the cottage is the firepit.
